Because Americans aren't obese enough.
Because pizza, with all its fat and refined carbohydrates just isn't unhealthy enough.
Because you can never eat enough Oreos.
Those are just a few of the raisons d'etre for Domino's introducing the new Oreo Dessert Pizza?
A sick marketing joke? I think not.
It may be true, though that the TV ad may be more awful than the product. But I'm not sure.
It's sickening, pointless, decadent, and probably the end of American civilization as we knew it.
All our national futzing with organic this and heirloom that, all our growing international reputation for eating something besides mac-and-cheese, all horribly, horribly squandered.
I have to try it.

You got this from The Onion, right? I'm reminded of David Cross's riff on Squagels, the square bagels. This is so much worse though. And yet, is that my stomach growling for a bite?
Saw those videos. Wow. That's horrific. Holiday season 06 I went to a small, 'family-oriented' pizza joint (it may have been a chain, was like a Round Table inside, though it had at least seven TV screens with baseball and football and the interior was full of beer ad pendants) with my relatives in the Atlanta suburbs and there was a truly grotesque desert pizza with a strawberry-look-a-like (let's just say it was red) jelly-like topping coated over some kind of sugar cream, all on top of the soft bread crust. The only person I saw take a slice was a six year old boy. Oh yeah. The art of making poison.
